Mistrial Declared in Ronald Trombly Trial

A mistrial was declared in the case of Ronald Trombly.
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. - A mistrial was declared in the case of Ronald Trombly.

WIRY Radio is reporting the judge told the jury it was difficult, but he had to make the decision.

Trombly was charged with manslaughter in the death of Ashley Poissant, 27, of Champlain, N.Y. In May 2013, police said Trombley's car struck Poissant as she and friends were jogging.

Clinton County District Attorney Andrew Wylie said he doesn't agree with the decision, but respects it. Wylie said he does plant to move forward with this case.
