MIDDLESEX, Vt. - A new campaign is launching Thursday to fight for paid sick days. It's called: Paid sick Days 2014.

Local business owners, workers, lawmakers and former governor Madeleine Kunin will kick off their effort.

The goal is to set a minimum standard of paid sick time for Vermont workers. Supporters will show how paid sick days will benefit everyone in Vermont-- from kids and families, to workers, business owners, and the public. They say no one should have to choose between our health and the ability to support ourselves and loved ones.

The kickoff will be at the Red Hen Bakery in Middlesex, Vt. at 10 a.m.
