New Grassroots Movement to Try to Get Money Out of Politics

A new grassroots movement is using money to try and get money out of politics.
BURLINGTON, Vt. - A new grassroots movement is using money to try and get money out of politics. It's called the Stamp Stampede, maybe you've noticed it on a dollar bill.

Ben & Jerry's owner Ben Cohen started the organization two years ago.  He's long been pining to stop corporations from donating to politicians and political parties.

Cohen says people have received the message well.

While cohen says he wants money out of politics, other Vermont politicians believe using taxpayer dollars for campaigns through public financing is also not the solution.
