NH Committee to Hold Hearing on Minimum Wage Bill

A New Hampshire House committee will hold a hearing Tuesday on a bill that would raise New Hampshire’s minimum wage.
A New Hampshire House committee will hold a hearing Tuesday on a bill that would raise New Hampshire’s minimum wage.

The Labor, Industrial and Rehabilitative Services Committee will hold the hearing Tuesday. The bill would raise the state’s minimum wage to

$8.25 an hour next year and to $9 in 2016.

The federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour.

The hearing is set to begin at 10:15 a.m.
