CONCORD, N.H. - New Hampshire Governor Maggie Hassan announced an enhanced version of its statewide foreclosure website Tuesday.
A press release says the website has a new sleeker look and easier navigation. It provides an online intake form that will allow homeowners to be connected to a housing counselor or access to free low-cost legal services in the area.
“As our economy continues to strengthen and the housing market steadily improves, we must remember that some of our neighbors are still feeling the impact of the recent recession,” Governor Hassan said. “In its first year, HomeHelpNH assisted hundreds of middle class families, and this enhanced website will help this innovative public-private initiative continue to strengthen our housing market, communities and economy by providing our citizens with the tools and resources that they need.”
During the first year, HomeHelpNH counselors assisted more than 800 households and approximately 5,600 hours of free guidance.
