CONCORD, N.H. - New Hampshire's governor is asking lawmakers to restore and increase the state's minimum wage.
Right now, the Granite state follows federal regulations.
In 2011, the legislature passed a bill repealing the minimum wage law.
According to the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act, New Hampshire has the lowest minimum wage in New England at $7.25 an hour. The last time it went up was in 2008.
