CONCORD, N.H. - The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department announced the 2014 moose hunting permit winners.
A press release says the 124 people were selected out of more than 10,400 applicants.
Winners will be offered permits to hunt moose in specific Wildlife Management areas during the October 18-26 season.
The department says in addition to many New Hampshire residents, winners were also from Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.
The names of the 2014 winners and alternates are posted on Fish and Game's website.
