CONCORD, N.H. - The New Hampshire Senate Ways and Means committee has agreed to raising the gas tax 4 cents.
According to the legislation, money collected will be used by the Department of Transportation to fix and repair roads. The bill would require adjustments to the gas tax every 4 years.
The vote was 14-9. The bill now moves to the Senate Finance committee.
