ALBANY, N.Y. - To help offset the increasing number of family court cases in New York, the state budget included money for 25 new judges. That includes Franklin county.
Senator Betty Little applauded the decision.
Family courts are the busiest in New York state, with a 60 percent increase in 20 years.
Franklin county voters will elect a new judge this November.
