CORTLAND, N.Y. - One month after unconfirmed reports that the New York Jets would return to SUNY Cortland, the school says it’s official.
The Jets have held their training camp at the home of the Red Dragons since 2009 - and they will be back this summer.
In addition to putting a spotlight on SUNY Cortland, the Jets' annual camps generate millions in revenue as visitors flock to Cortland.
The school says 21,000 people from across the country and beyond visited Cortland in 2013.
They say the Jets visits have generated $19.24 million since their first training camp in 2009.
The dates for the camp have not been determined.
