ALBANY, N.Y. - New York's Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) website has been redesigned.
A press release says customers can order replacement driver licenses, renew registration on mobile devices, make online reservations for DMV visits, and access other services online. Users can also sign up for mobile alerts for registration and inspection reminders.
“This new website is a one stop shop for DMV resources - updated to match the ever changing ways New Yorkers use technology to access information in the 21st century,” Governor Andrew Cuomo said. “This redesign is another step in the state’s effort to make government more innovative, efficient and available to the people it serves.”
The DMV plans on adding more features and services on their mobile devices in March.
