"O" Show Expresses the Need for Organ Donors

It's a benefit concert in support of Donate Life Vermont.

SHELDON, Vt. - The 3rd Annual "O" Show was held Saturday.

It's a benefit concert in support of Donate Life Vermont.

It's goal is to raise awareness and educate Vermonters about the importance and need for organ donors.

ABC22's Photojournalist Tyler Unwin was at the pre-show.

"We're here in honor of Brooke Ostrander, he was our music teacher at Missisquoi Valley Union High School. He taught there for over twenty years. He passed away unfortunately a few years ago and his students decided that they wanted to honor his life by making an event, doing what he would have loved to do which is music," said Bob Berger,

"I think it is really important to be an organ donor. The lives you might be able to save, unbeknownst to you I think is a huge importance for a lot of people. I myself am an organ donor so i wholeheartedly support it for sure," said Steve Hartmann.
