BRADFORD, Vt. - Oxbow High School is no longer considering a controversial candidate as its next principal.
The superintendent of Orange East Supervisory Union says the board decided to not move forward with Noah Noyes' application, specifically because of the controversy with community and staff.
Noyes is currently the principal at Danville High School and was accused of not properly reporting possible child abuse.
He was the only candidate being considered for Oxbow.
The supervisory union says it will hire an interim principal until a permanent one is found.
