Plattsburgh Man Arrested for Trying to Steal Vehicle

New York State Police arrested a man accused of trying to steal a vehicle Thursday night.
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. - New York State Police arrested a man accused of trying to steal a vehicle Thursday night. The incident happened around 10:20 p.m. at a residence on Tom Miller Road. 

Police say 20-year-old Tucker Hackett fled the scene after being confronted by the vehicle's owner.

Troopers later located Hackett walking on Tom Miller Road.

Hackett was arrested and charged with 4th degree attempted grand larceny. He was arraigned and committed to the Clinton County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail, $4,000 secure bond.
