Police: 178 Bags of Heroin, Crack Cocaine Found During Traffic Stop

Vermont State Police say they found bags of heroin and crack cocaine during a traffic stop on Wednesday.
WESTMINSTER, Vt. - Vermont State Police say they found bags of heroin and crack cocaine during a traffic stop on Wednesday. The traffic stop happened on Route 5 in Westminster at around 11 p.m.

While searching the operator John Preterotti police found a hypodermic needle in his underwear. During a search of passenger Antonio Figueroa, 33, of Bellow Falls, Vt., they found 178 bags of heroin and one gram of crack cocaine. 

Figueroa was arrested and charged with trafficking Heroin and possession of crack cocaine. He was lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility for lack of $10,000 bail.
