Police: 3 Dead Horses Found at Lyndonville Farm

Twenty-one horses are now with humane societies and other farms around the state.
LYNDONVILLE, Vt. -  Twenty-one horses are now with humane societies and other farms around the state.

On Friday, the Caledonia County Sheriff's Department took a call about a dead horse at Bona Farm. The owner gave up the horses after deputies went in with a warrant.

The sheriff's department says they also found 3 dead horses covered in debris. Most of the animals had no food, water, or vet care.

Right now FOX 44 and ABC 22 is told that no criminal charges are filed, but could be filed in the future.
