MILTON, Vt. - Three men are accused of conducting 13 larcenies from vehicles in Milton overnight Monday.
Milton Police say in all the cases, the vehicles were left unlocked and one of the men would go through each vehicle. Items stolen included wallets, a snowboard, boots, change, cash, a GPS and other electronics. Multiple stolen credit cards were also being used throughout Chittenden County immediately after the thefts.
Police arrested Anthony Burbo Jr., 20, Anthony Burbo Sr., 52, and 29-year-old Justin Perkins. Police say they believe the three men conducted approximately 100 other larcenies from vehicles.
Burbo Jr. is charged with 12 counts of accessory to larceny, 8 counts of credit card fraud, and possession of stolen property.
Burbo Sr. is charged with 12 counts of accessory to larceny and possession of stolen property.
Perkins is charged with 12 counts of petit larcney, violations of conditions of release, sale of stolen property, and credit card fraud.
Milton Police have located owners of most of the stolen property that has been recovered.
Police are urging the public to contact them at (802)-893-6171 if their vehicle had been gone through, regardless if items were stolen.
