Police Find Crack in Man's Sock During Traffic Stop

During a traffic stop on I-91 near Springfield, Vermont State Police say they found 42.5 grams of crack cocaine inside a man's sock.
SPRINGFIELD, Vt. - During a traffic stop on I-91 near Springfield, Vermont State Police say they found 42.5 grams of crack cocaine inside a man's sock. This happened at around 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Police arrested Geovanie Guzman, 22, of Springfield, Mass., for possession of crack cocaine.

The vehicle was initially stopped for expired registration and an obstruction to the driver's view. Police say the occupants were traveling from Springfield, Mass. to Montpelier, Vt. to deliver a license plate to an unknown man.

Guzman was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility for lack of $5,000 bail.
