BURLINGTON, Vt. - As Congress considers the country's transportation policy, Vermont representative Peter Welch wants to know what Vermonters think should be priorities.
On Friday, he hosted a roundtable with Vermont Agency of Transportation leaders, state senators and represenatives, and others.
Welch says he wanted to know how federal money should be spent on Vermont roads and bridges.
Vermont transportation leaders say the state needs flexiblity with its federal dollars. Federal flexibility after Tropical Storm Irene helped with the state's recovery.
