You may want to think twice before taking on a lot of student debt.
A new Gallup-Purdue University study of 30,000 graduates finds those with no student loan debt were seven times more likely to be happy than those with more than $40,000 in debt.
The study also found going to a fancy Ivy League school didn't mean you'd be happier later in life.
There was little difference between public and private school grads in terms of their future well-being and workplace engagement.
What did matter was the experiences graduates had while in college.
