WASHINGTON - Some promising news concerning colon cancer. It looks like the message is finally getting out and it's saving lives.
Colonoscopy is a test that few people relish. Now, new evidence that more of us are getting them and that a common, deadly cancer just got a little less common.
In a new report, the American Cancer Society is revealing that colon cancer rates have dropped 30 percent in patients 50 and older over the past decade. The report also found that colonoscopy use almost tripled in these adults during the same time period.
