POULTNEY, Vt. - Thursday's storm affected holiday celebrations in Poultney.
The parade, field events and fireworks were postponed.
Town leaders are still trying to figure out a date to reschedule them. The celebration is most likely to be postponed until Saturday.

"Oh this is terrible. Wicked. I've never had a storm like this before," Dorothy French, Resident, said.
Some festivities did get cancelled, like the Martin Devlin Memorial 5k Fun Run.
