Storms Cause Rollover, Outages

Storms that moved through the area on Sunday caused a rollover, according to police, and power outages.
RANDOLPH, Vt. - Vermont State Police say a car hydroplaned and rolled over on I-89 south just after 10:40 a.m. Sunday.

According to police, the vehicle slid off the interstate and struck nearby ledges. It then rolled over.

The driver, Abigail Winter, 26 of Mt. Kisco, N.Y., was transported to Gifford Medical Center with minor injures.

Storms during the afternoon downed trees on Converse Bay Road in Charlotte, which resulted in about 200 power outages.

Statewide, more than 5,000 outages were reported for a time late Sunday.
