RUTLAND, Vt. - Rutland Police say several state employees found threatening notes left on their vehicles. The threats relate to the recent death of 2-year-old Dezirae Sheldon.
Rutland Police say the notes were placed on vehicles in a public parking areas and one at a personal residence.
Police are reminding the public that threatening notes that instills fear is a crime and anyone found perpetrating this crime will be held accountable.
Police are working with state security officials and the Vermont State Police and have a safety plan in place.
