Townshend Shooting Victims Identified

Vermont State Police have identified the two people who died in a deadly shooting Wednesday night in Townshend.
TOWNSHEND, Vt. - Vermont State Police have identified the two people who died in a deadly shooting Wednesday night as 26-year-old Shane Brodeur and 20-year-old Katelyn McFadden.

Both lived at the Grafton Road home where this happened.

Troopers are calling this a homicide.

The autopsy confirms McFadden died of a gunshot wound to the head and a second shot to the neck.  It also shows Brodeur shot himself in the head after shooting his girlfriend.

Broduer was the one who called police, because he and McFadden were having an argument.

Troopers say the shootings happened just moments before they got there.
