ALBANY, N.Y. - Training programs for unemployed workers in New York will be receiving a huge boost in funds.
The state was awarded about $6.2 million in federal grants. The money will create and expand business partnerships and fund on the job training.
The grants complement the governor's unemployment strikeforce that was announced in May.
