USDA: Foster Farms Likely Source of Salmonella Outbreak

Government food safety inspectors say a top selling brand of chicken is the likely source of a salmonella outbreak.
LIVINGSTON, Calif. -  Government food safety inspectors say a top selling brand of chicken is the likely source of a salmonella outbreak. 

USDA inspectors believe California-based Foster Farms  is to blame.

More than 275 people in 18 states have become sick over the past six months. Most of the illnesses are in California and none have been reported in our region.
