Vermont Progressives Elect New Leader

The Vermont Progressive Party has a new leader.
BERLIN, Vt. - The Vermont Progressive Party has a new leader.

Emma Mulvaney-Stanak of Winooski was elected as chair Saturday.

Over 125 people attended the state convention and 73 ballots were cast by committee delegates.

In addition to Mulvaney-Stanak, Selene Colburn of Burlington was named vice chair. South Ryegate's Chris Brimmer is secretary and Martha Abbott of Underhill was elected treasurer.
