St. Johnsbury School Budget Voted Down Again

The vote breakdown Thursday was 629 NO, and 539 YES.
ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. - After a close vote Thursday, people in St. Johnsbury said no to the school budget a second time.

1,173 people voted.  Here is the breakdown:

629- NO
539 - YES

The school board had lowered it's budget proposal by one hundred and eighty thousand dollars. 
Superintendent Ranny Bledsoe had wanted the budget to pass.

"I think it would be really unfortunate and I do think we would lose really talented staff if we freeze salaries i don't think it's justified," Bledsoe said.
