ROCKINGHAM, Vt. - Vermont State Police say a woman hid drugs in her pants prior to a traffic stop on I-91 Tuesday night.
Police say when they stopped Amanda Conant, 23, of Bomoseen, Vt., for speeding they found a suspicious object in her pants. Conant told police that she hid a film canister with several prescription pills prior to the traffic stop.
After searching the vehicle, police say, they also found drug paraphernalia and cocaine.
Conant was arrested and is charged with possession of a narcotic, stimulant, depressant, and cocaine. She was issued a written warning for the speeding violation.
Conant is due in court in August.
