BERLIN, Vt. - Vermont State Police say they caught an inmate who escaped custody while at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin Tuesday.

Police say Jonathan Henry, 28 of Marshfield, had been in the custody of Department of Corrections when he had been taken to the center for medical treatment.

Once his treatment was over, police say Henry, who was not shackled, took off around 5:00pm.

He was caught about two and a half hours later at a mobile home park off of US Route 302. Henry was taken into custody and brought back to Central Vermont Medical Center to be checked out.

Henry had recently been locked up for Aggravated Assault after an event in January in East Montpelier.

Police expect more charges to be filed.
