VT State Police Arrest Another Man Involved in Dick's Sporting Goods Thefts Wednesday

Police say 22-year-old Mark Comstock was charged Wednesday for his involvement in a string of thefts carried out by several Castleton State College students at Dick's Sporting Goods in Rutland, Vt.
RUTLAND (TOWN), Vt. - Police say 22-year-old Mark Comstock was charged Wednesday for his involvement in a string of thefts carried out by several Castleton State College students at Dick's Sporting Goods in Rutland, Vt.

Last week FOX44 and ABC22 reported 19-year-old George Busharis, of Castleton, Vt., was arrested and charged for multiple counts of retail theft.

Police say 21-year-old Brandon Boyle assisted Busharis and several other Castleton State College students with stealing merchandise from the store. Boyle is facing multiple embezzlement charges.

Boyle and Busharis are due in court in October. Comstock is due in court in November.

Comstock, who is one of the four additional Castleton State College Football players, is suspended from Castleton’s football program.
