Water to Be Shutdown in St. Johnsbury to Make Repairs

Water is going to be shutdown in St. Johnsbury on Thursday to make replace a defective shut off valve.
ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. - Water is going to be shutdown in St. Johnsbury on Thursday to make replace a defective shut off valve. 

A press release says water will be shut off on Western Avenue at approximately 8 a.m. Water is expected to be turned back on by 5 p.m., if no problems come up during the repair. 

Areas affected by the shut off include High Street, Mount Vernon Street, Route 2B, Western Avenue from Central Street intersection to Route 2B, and Central Street from Cliff Street intersection to Western Avenue. 

Residents near the above streets may also be affected by the water shutdown.
