Explosive Expert Shoots Himself at Littleton Regional ER Monday

A U.S. military explosives expert shot and killed himself in front of the emergency department at Littleton Regional Healthcare Monday.
LITTLETON, N.H. - A U.S. military explosives expert shot and killed himself in front of the emergency department at Littleton Regional Healthcare Monday. This happened around 11 a.m.

Police say Thomas Sitsch, 55, of Monroe, N.H., passed away from trauma he suffered from the gunshot wound.

Due to Sitsch's extensive knowledge and experience of explosives, police searched his car and home for explosive devices. No devices were found in his car or at his residence.
