FOX 44/ABC 22 is bringing you job openings from Vermont, New York and New Hampshire.
Rapid Response Sessions for IBM Workers:

- Wednesday, June 19 & Saturday, June 22

- 2 sessions each day, 9 am & 1:00 pm

- Sheraton Inn, Williston Road, Burlington

The sessions will include presentations on job placement and training programs, unemployment insurance programs, how to research job information, and how to utilize the full range of Vermont Department of Labor programs.   The Vermont Department of Labor staff will also be available to meet with workers on an individual basis to answer questions.

Additional sessions may be coming.

Visiting Nurse Association (Posted on 6/10):

The VNA is offering free training to become a Personal Care Attendant. Learn about a career in health care as a Personal Care Attendant at an presentation being held at the Burlington Department of Labor, 63 Pearl Street, on Wednesday, June 12 at 9:30 a.m.

VT Department of Labor (Posted on 6/03):

ADA Traffic Control has immediate openings for flaggers in Chittenden County. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 10 hour days starting at 6:30am. (Plus some weekend work) Worksites could vary throughout the day. Applicants must have a valid driver's license, own vehicle and own phone (no message phones). Flagging certification class being held Thursday, June 6, 2013 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Burlington DOL office. Interested candidates must attend this class, complete application, and bring 2 forms of identification to class, one being a valid driver's license. This is seasonal work with the opportunity to return in the spring. For additional questions, please call the Burlington Department of Labor office at 863-7676.
