Man Arrested in New Year's Day Assault in Lebanon, NH

Lebanon Police arrested a man involved in a New Year's Day assault on Maple Street.
LEBANON, N.H. - Lebanon Police arrested a man involved in a New Year's Day assault on Maple Street.

Police say they are charging Michael Goodwin, 25, of Lebanon, N.H., with second degree assault. Goodwin is accused of causing serious injuries to the victim.

If convicted, Goodwin faces 7 years in jail, a $4,000 fine, or both. He was arraigned on Thursday where bail was raised to $10,000 cash. His next court appearance is on January 13.
