The New Hampshire House is expected to vote on a bill to decriminalize small amounts of marijuana Wednesday.
CONCORD, N.H. - The New Hampshire House is expected to vote on a bill to decriminalize small amounts of marijuana Wednesday.

According to the bill, anyone under the age of 21 would be allowed to possess an ounce or less of marijuana, including 5 grams of hashish. The bill would also tax marijuana similar to alcohol. No one will be able to smoke marijuana in a public place under the law.

The bill passed the House Criminal Justice and Public Safety committee by a 11-7 vote back in November.
