Police Investigate Armed Robbery in Rutland

Vermont State Police say a man robbed Mac's Market in Rutland Sunday night.
Police are searching for a man following an armed robbery in Center Rutland.

Just before 10 p.m. Sunday, police say a man, holding knife, walked into Mac’s Market and demanded money. The clerk turned over an unknown amount of cash and the man fled the store. He was last seen running east toward Route 4, police said. No injuries were reported.

The man is being described as white, approximately 6' tall, lean to average build. He was wearing a light blue hoodie with black numbers "802", black pants, black sneakers, and knit gloves. He disguised his face by wearing a bandanna and sunglasses, investigators said.
