Police: Man Arrested For Entering U.S. With 3.3 Grams of Meth

Police say a man was arrested for entering the U.S. at the Champlain Port of Entry with methamphetamine.
CHAMPLAIN, N.Y. - Police say a man was arrested for entering the U.S. at the Champlain Port of Entry with methamphetamine.

David Gomez, 33, of Union City, N.J., had 3.3 grams of methamphetamine in his possession at the time of his arrest.

Gomez was charged with 7th degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned at the Town of Champlain Court where he posted $1,000 bail.

Gomez is scheduled to be back in court in the middle of February.
