Police: Man Points Gun at Driver During Road Rage Incident

Police responded to a road rage incident Sunday afternoon on Federal Street.

ST. ALBANS, Vt. - Police responded to a road rage incident Sunday afternoon on Federal Street.

Police say a driver and her husband cut in front of 36-year-old Jason Gagne at the Kingman Street intersection. Gagne began following, tailgating, verbally harassing and at one point pointed a rifle at them.

Gagne was arrested a short time later and is being charged with reckless endangerment, assault and DUI 4th offense.

Police say they recovered a Marlin 30.30 rifle from Gagne's vehicle. No one was injured and no shots were fired during the incident.
