Police: Two Vermonters Died in Car Crash

Police have released the names of two people who died in a car crash on I-89 Saturday.
LEBANON, N.H. - Police have released the names of two people who died in a car crash on I-89 Saturday.

Police say 24-year-old Amanda Murphy and 29-year-old Jason Timmons, both of Wilder, Vermont, died.

They were driving northbound on the interstate when a truck driving southbound crossed over the median and hit them near Exit 18.

Police say that truck was driven by 53-year-old Robert Dellinger of Sunapee, New Hampshire, who is in the hospital with injuries.

Police are investigating what caused the crash. It forced one lane of the highway to be closed for most of Saturday night.
