Second Ice Storm-Related Death in Vt.

A second person has died as a result of last week’s ice storm.
A week after an ice storm hit Vermont, a second person has died as a result.

According to the Burlington Free Press, Harold “Pete” Gosselin, 48, was killed attempting to clear ice at his father-in-law’s home in Fairfield on Sunday.

Gosselin was standing on an aluminum ladder with an aluminum rake when it made contact with a live wire. He was electrocuted.

Gosselin was pronounced dead at St. Alban's Medical Center.

The first storm-related death involved and Albany man. He was found dead at his home last week from carbon monoxide poisoning. He was running a generator indoors, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
