VT Health Connect Online Payments Coming Soon

If you've signed up for Vermont Health Connect, your first premium will be due January 7. However, you can't pay that online just yet.
WINOOSKI, Vt. - If you've signed up for Vermont Health Connect, your first premium will be due January 7.

However, you can't pay that online just yet.

Officials need to process 7,000 applications, which will force the website down overnight. This means your invoice will be mailed to you and you need to pay by check. This is for family and individual coverage starting the first of the year.

If you have small business coverage, nothing is due just yet. Your coverage from this year will roll into the next.

"While we recognize the frustration, we've shared the frustration that the upgrades haven't occurred as fast as we would've liked. We're pleased that there is a plan in place to partner with Blue Cross and MVP to make sure small businesses won't experience gaps in coverage," Mark Larson, Commissioner of Vermont Health Access, said.

Vermont Health Connect says technology for online payments is still being tested. Electronic payment will be available when testing is complete.
