The winner of 44’s Finest best prime rib in town was a close vote between two restaurants in our area.
Get this, North Hero House won the by write in votes but due to the owner being out of town, we featured the runner up, Windjammer.
Windjammer in South Burlington has been perfecting their 100 percent angus beef prime rib for the past 4 decades.
Serving the dish 7 days a week, this local spot goes through 500 pounds of prime rib weekly.
One native Vermonter, Richard R. Porter, is a big fan of the prime rib and he’s been coming to the Windjammer for the past 40 years, which has amounted 4,400 visits total.
Next week on 44’s Finest, we’re talking all about who has the best creative cocktails. If you have a favorite location, go to our website under the ‘Living Local’ tab and vote!
