Ring in the season with a week-long celebration in Ticonderoga, New York. The 8th Annual Ticonderoga Area North Country Christmas Celebration lights of the town Nov. 24 through Dec. 3.
The event brings festive fun for the whole family, kicking off with events such as Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Holiday Wagon Rides, Rockin’ Tree Lighting and the arrival of the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train.
A big highlight of the celebration is the Holiday Shopping and Dining Night, sponsored by the Ticonderoga Chamber Area of Commerce. The event encourages people to shop and dine local within the area. Nearby businesses will be offering specials and promotions, as well as holiday music and free raffles. New this year, is the “Parade of Lights”, coordinated by Ticonderoga Fire Department.
