Another Tractor Trailer Gets Stuck on the Notch Road

Even after stricter regulations and bigger fines, tractor trailer trucks are still getting stuck on the Notch Road on Route 108.

It happened again Thursday night, Vermont State Police say they got a call around 10 p.m. that a tractor trailer truck was stuck in the S-curve section of the Notch Road, and was blocking traffic.

Police say it took 4 hours to remove the truck.

According to officials the truck driver Valdes Genardo, 53, of Miami, Florida was fined $3,544.00.

Vermont increased the fines for commercial vehicles that get stuck on the Notch Road in July.  Commercial vehicles are prohibited from driving over the Notch Road.
