This week on Local 44 Morning Brew, Champlain College professor of film writing Julia Swift reviewed the sequel to the 1982 sci-fi classic, Blade Runner. The new film is called Blade Runner: 2049.
The film, starring Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, follows a futuristic world where the Los Angeles Police Department uncovers a long buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos.
The film is two hours and 44 minutes. It’s directed by Denis Villeneuve and is rated R.
