At The Box Office: “Book Club”


This week on Local 44 Morning Brew, Champlain College professor of filmmaking Julia Swift reviewed the comedy film, “Book Club”.

It follows four older women who all read Fifty Shades of Grey as part of their monthly book club and who all interpret the novel as a wake-up call to expand and improve their lives.

The film stars Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen. 

“Book Club” is directed, co-written and co-produced by Bill Holderman and is rated PG-13.
