Ben & Jerry’s Product Recalled for Possible Peanut Allergy

According to Ben & Jerry’s website, the company is recalling a limited amount of its Chocolate Fudge Brownie Pint Slices.  The company says the recall is because some of them might contain the Vanilla Peanut Butter Cup Pint Slices. 

Folks with an allergy to peanuts could run the risk of getting sick from the mislabeled ice cream. 

The recall is for the products with a UPC code of 076840657940 best by date AUG1218LT2 and lot number of AUG1218LT2. 

The product was sold in a paper box.  And was only shipped to the United States.
