Brattleboro Police is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was found in the Whetstone Brook near Canal Street on Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, the man found is an unidentified black man in his mid-40’s. He was about 5’ 7” and weighs about 220 pounds.
Police say the body of the man was found unclothed. Investigators are still looking into his cause of death.
Officials say the public is not at risk.
